She has spent 19 years as a registered dental hygienist (RDH), developing a deep understanding of oral and systemic health, and has been studying TCM since 2018, earning her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA) in Phoenix, AZ in 2023. She is board-certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed to practice acupuncture in Arizona, where her practice, Desert Shen, is rooted in the heart of Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Victoria’s extensive background in dentistry has given her a refined skill set that enhances her work as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist. Her expertise in oral pathology, injections, and local anesthesia has translated into a precise and gentle touch with acupuncture needles. Additionally, her in-depth knowledge of oral and systemic connections strengthens her ability to assess tongue diagnostics, a key component of TCM diagnosis. Beyond her clinical practice, she is also a dedicated educator, teaching Oral Pathology for the Dental Hygiene Program at Mohave County Community College.
